We see our website as the information and communication medium that complements our relevance in the New Millennium. We're on Waterworks Road, about 10 km from the Central Business District of Brisbane, part of the city's Anglican Diocese.

Because our beautiful suburb strongly identifies with families, our mission is to "be the best family church and best church family we can be."

Geared to Your Needs

We have ministries for all ages from Playgroup, Kids Club, Youth Groups right through to Friendship Circle (a Seniors Group).

Growing with God

At St Mark's we place special emphasis on two areas. First, each person needs to commit to Jesus to be in a right relationship with God.

Second, this relationship needs to be fed with good teaching from the Bible, prayer and regular fellowship with other Christians.

Getting to Know Jesus

The Creed is a summary of Christian beliefs. However only two lines are devoted to God; one to the Holy Spirit yet eleven lines to Jesus! This is because Jesus is central to Christianity. There are four Gospels on his life, not just one.

The emphasis in the Bible is on Jesus and especially on his death and resurrection.

At St Marks we believe that Jesus is the clearest picture of God that humanity will receive. So to know God ( and ourselves ) better we need to get to know Jesus.

The best place to start is to read the Gospel of St Mark. It's short ; it can be read through in one hour. I recommend it to you.
