Children's Church

Children's Church is held during part of the 9 a.m. Sunday service in school terms. It aims to nurture children from Kindergarten age. Children leave the service just before the Gospel reading and return to the service before Communion is taken.

These are the groups in Children's Church.

LEAP FROGS Ages 2 - 5

Leap frogs introduces 2 to 5 year olds to God's love through stories, craft and play. It allows young children to come to Church with parents and keeps the experience positive for both.

Leap Frogs runs through out the school year breaking for the first Sunday of each month. Preschool age children are welcome to join the program during the school holidays. Parents are welcome to join the groups at any time.

SUNBEAMS Ages 6 to Grade 2

The children learn about God through play based learning, stories, craft and lots of fun games. Led by Lorna Hunter.

JESUS' KIDS Grades 2 to 7

We learn about Jesus through sharing, prayer, bible stories, games and activities.

Children's Christian Journey

Children attending have taken significant steps on their Christian journey. Many show great insight and a hunger for the kingdom of God, reminding their teachers forcefully and poignantly of Jesus' words in Matthew 19:14. “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”
